Julia Trevelyan Oman was a designer for the theatre, television and cinema, her designs still used today at the Royal Opera House. As the back sleeve sweetly puts it, "in private life she is Mrs Roy Strong", and the book was actually published in the year of their marriage. He spoke of her often in the talk but sadly Julia passed away in 2003.
